I WANT

to talk about sex.

Holy shit. Why is it so taboo? In class today, sex needed to be discussed. This class is an upper-level religion class, mostly seniors. And the class COULD NOT handle it.

Why is sex so hard to talk about? Like, it’s a normal and natural thing. It’s not weird. Probably just about everyone, if not everyone in the class is having it. So why can’t we talk about it without giggling and blushing and refusing to say the words?

Say it:

PENIS.

VAGINA.

SEX.

It’s really not that hard. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m kind of weirded out by the thought of balls, but they just seem so weird and unnecessary. However, I don’t have any problem talking about sex.

Plus, it’s a hell of a lot more interesting than what most people want to talk about.

I guess I’m just lucky my friends are exceptions. One housemate, in particular. He’ll talk about anything, even if it’s completely disgusting. Thanks to my friends, I’ve learned terms like frottage and alaskan pipelines.

Thanks gay roommates. You’re the best.

Assignment: Go out, and talk about sex, and don’t be afraid to laugh about it.

Maybe the world will be a happier and less uptight place.
